NPC's / Big Mama Bertha and Other Street Urchins

Big Mama Bertha

Ain't nobody messin with Big Mama Bertha. Unelected Community leader of the Street Urchins, she looks after everyone with her one good eye. Being a 89 year old Satyr, she knows the cruelty of man. She won't let anyone mess with her 'flock'.  And whatever you do, do NOT have some of Mama's Home cookin! Constantly open with the phrase "Now I might be partially blind, but even I can see..."

Thimbaleen

Female Half-Dragon born., 6 years old (looks 10). Orphan that Big Mama Bertha found and cares for within her flock.  Quite timid, due to her duel heritage she is covered mostly in 'grey scale'.

Gargantuan

Male Goonga, 47 years old. Is average height but is convinced that he's of giant stature. Real name is Nada Finks but is so convinced that he is of massive height he only refers to himself as 'Gargantuan'. H will devour any food he can get a hold of, which has caused him to have many run ins with the law over stealing.


Maple

A Crow Clan Kenku who can not shut up. The thing is she rarely speaks in a language, her preferred way of communication is miming actions and sounds. Her sharp eyes are good at picking out creatures with "shiny" (aka important/high value) objects on them, often with Frtiz.


Fitzpatrick 'Fritz'
An aggressive Brona-Kreen, ready to pick any fight, especially if money is involved. Problem is he's very clumsy and cannot control his 4 arms in unison. Very Hot headed, tags along with Maple often.

I see this Half elf women scoot closer to me.

I slick back my hair, down my drink, and say to her "How you doin? Names Gasputin, but you can call me Gas because gas what?  I'm here to keep you gassin.   Do you wanna play a game?" I open up my coat to reveal   a multipocketed vest. "If you can gas what in my pockets you can keep it, if not well uh let's just wait and see about that. Please note that uh somethings are uh... up for negotiations."

*Sorry for the delay*

With the people falling into the room I roll for a tumble check [14 + (18 dex)= 32 *I'll assume with such a high roll that I avoid the people coming into the room to keep the game moving*

Disliking the amount of people flooding into the room I escape the room once I find an opening and make my way to the main portion of the Tavern. From the landing I see Blaster smash the door down and go join the group silently. I listen as they discuss what to do next and watch as Blaster walks away and attempts to climb the roof. After seeing both Blaster and Lyrina begin to climb and after Geoffrey's first initial failure at climbing, I then fumble about in my pockets and locate my climber's kit. I deploy it and attempt to climb along with the group [17 + (11 str)= 28].

*What's the layout of this place? Are we all in separate rooms that lead into the main portion of the Inn or am I in like the entrance hall and all the room's doors lead to the area that I am in?*

Darmen wakes up from all the noise. He dons his attire/equipment and goes to try to enter the closest room that houses one of his teammates.

Darmen not knowing where his bed is curls up on the ground. Though to him it is all he has ever known and he has grown to find any hard surface to be comfortable.

"Find out what tomorrow"? Darmen moves to stand next to Duncan. He sees that Duncan is grasping a piece of paper and on it are words. Darmen then tilts his loop-sided head to read it.

Returning from the bathroom, Darmen resumes his attempt to go back to the room. He goes to the door knob to turn it *rolls 1* only for his hands to miss completely. As a result he has ended up scratching on the wood of the door. Continuously. On the other side he hears voices.

Meanwhile, outside the room and below them, Darmen Can Seigo returns from the bathroom and sees that that his compadres have left the table. He knows not what to do so he returns to their room which finds locked. Rather than knocking, he pops a squat on the floor and fumbles in his pocket and in a few moments has his hand emerge in victory grasping a cracker. He then proceeds to munch on it.

After the cracker has been consumed Darmen darts back to the bathroom to pop an actual squat before he resumes his attempt to enter his group's room in hope of being located.

*Will he return in time to be found? Will his squat be green? Will he be mostly silent for the next few days/weeks?? Only time will tell!*

*Yeah sorry everybody, I current only have internet on my phone but it's eating through my data faster than Blaster consuming a scibby. Hopefully I will get legit, full time access internet soon.*

If you roll anything else, you don’t have such an item on you, and you can’t search again for the same item until you’ve spent at least one day in a town or city. Rummaging through your pouches, pack, and pockets in this way takes 1 minute.

Darmen Can Seigo
Race: Kinder
Class: Rogue
Alignment: Neutral
Home: some sources say that he physically came from Gimon Scarfunkel when he ate the Soup of the Day. Other Sources say “Who knows, but if that thing came from Scarfunkel we would have killed it on sight”.

Darmen has not had the best of childhoods. This pint sized sad little thing has been the caretaker boy for Gimon Scarfunkel as the latter’s body slowly shuts down from God only knows what. He duties were to make sure Scarfunkel was alive everyday, change his diaper, and administer his daily herb intake. On the few occasions he was tasked to care for Tobias, Scarfunkel’s #1 service man.

He knows little of the Kinder ways and what he does know comes from Scarfunkel’s surprisingly limited number of books. As such, he is quite timid and very reluctant to act out.

Even joining the Adventuring Elite was not his idea. Scarfunkel would not die and because of this he grew to see that Darmen had very little use outside of replacing Tobias on the odd occasion. Scarfunkel, being the top Librarian of Rognvaldr's Relam, got word from Rognvaldr himself that he was assembling an Adventuring Elite to perform dangerous, but meaningful tasks. Scarfunkel signed Darmen up as a way to test this young boy if he would float or sink in the real world. Scarfunkel cares little if he returns, but hope that he will be of help to the Adventuring Elite.

During the course of his recent travels, Darmen has begun to display some of his innate Kender Talents. For the most part, his pockets have grown quite deep, they current contain: Crackers (quantity: ?),
pick axe, a stick in the form of a megaphone (how this is possible is not known,
poison (does not know the specifics, or its actual location within pockets. It may be leaking),
bits of writh dust,
and 10 cougar claws).

Also he is currently adorning the most peculiar footwear, he calls them “Air Jordans Pump Ups” (surely something Garfunkel thought up).
